I just won a pass (for two) to the advance screening of Definitely Maybe :). I haven't been to a movie screening since before I left for Germany so I'm excited. I actually want to see this movie anyway so I just get to save money this way.

I loved Charlie Wilson's war. I plan on buying the dvd when it comes out. It was very interesting and even had comedic moments. They get two thumbs up from me.

Last night I saw Walk Hard. It was really funny. It was a dumb humor type of film but I like those some times and this was one of those times.

I just got home from the movies. The Savages was good. It wasn't the best movie I've ever seen but I enjoyed it. My Mom thought it was sad. She tends to cry in movies. lol. Actually I do that too sometimes.. I guess I just didn't think the movie was that sad ( Read more... )

Man.. I really should go buy a lottery ticket. I won another contest. This time it's for a carload of people to get into the local holiday lights festival. (value: $15.00) Okay.. so it's not a trip to Hawaii but it's still cool that I won. I guess we will have to do it this weekend since I leave for Germany the day after christmas.

Okay I was wrong. It's not Julia time.. It's movie mania or something like that. I just got an email informing me that I won passes to the advance screening of Walk Hard on wednesday. I just found out that I won passes to go see Charlie Wilson's War on thursday. I'm so excited. This movie looks great. I'm glad Julia Roberts will finally be on screen again.I love all most all of her movies. She isn't exactly my favorite actress, but I love watching her films. I hope this will be another great one.
